After Wou d‘Uelzecht – Esch (Esch2022) and Wou d‘Uelzecht – Stad (LUGA 2025), we now meet the river Alzette in Mersch, at the place where it is joined by its tributaries, the rivers Mamer and Eisch for a third sequel of the Wou d’Uelzecht soundwalk. A sensory experience highlighting the unique soundscape of the river as well as its stories, and connecting it through artistic response in music and text to its historical significance and location.
Stream the audio for free on your own device (phone, tablet), listen with headphones and follow a map for the route. Pause at each number on the map to listen to the corresponding track. Available in 4 languages (LU, FR, DE, EN), it can be done any time, alone or in a group, and is suitable for all ages. The route is about 1 km long and we suggest allowing around 60 min to complete it. Available from 4th October onwards.
Bring headphones and phones.
