Marceline est un spectacle poétique et immersif mêlant théâtre, danse et musique, et met en scène une danseuse, une soprano et un quatuor à cordes. Inspirée de la vie de Marceline Orbés – clown visionnaire, mentor de Charlie Chaplin et référence pour Buster Keaton – cette œuvre retrace son parcours artistique brillant ainsi que sa chute tragique avec l’arrivée du cinéma. Marceline invite petits et grands à un voyage sensoriel célébrant la puissance de la scène, la mémoire et l’imagination. Un hommage aux artistes oubliés et à la beauté intemporelle du spectacle vivant.

Inspired by the life of Marceline Orbés – a pioneering clown, mentor to Charlie Chaplin and reference for Buster Keaton – the piece tells the story of his artistic brilliance and tragic decline with the arrival of cinema. Marceline invites audiences young and old on a sensorial journey that celebrates the power of performance, memory and imagination.
